How To Detach From Someone You Love

Firstly, I want you to know it’s possible!  One of the most possible and inevitable things in life is moving on from someone you once loved.  I have done it a thousand times, sadly😢- Here’s how to detach from someone you love. Step 1: No Contact ❌ You cannot start the game without rolling the dice. This is the dice.  Take out your phone and block! I mean it, just block! Remove from every social media platform or anywhere else you or they can contact.  You will always fall back, or they will always pull you back. I know that’s the addiction, right? But if you want to stop being the prey they hunt, roll the dice.    With time, this is what’s going to help you heal the most. You won’t see their life, you won’t think of them that often, and you will see that life without them isn’t that bad.  As Maddy said, “Out of sight, out of mind.” Step 2: Sob 😭 This is what most of us avoid. Sobbing.  This is the train to the healing station.  You gotta cry! Cry because it’s over. Or cry because it never began. Cry for all that you went through.  I lock myself in my room, close the light, and cry in the dark for days. I listen to sad music to feel even worse. People think how stupid of her to just break down, but later I come out healed, and I move on while they are still depressed deep inside for a guy that left them 3 years ago.  Trust me, it’s exhilarating to let it all out! Do this for days, for weeks, or as long as you need. But your tears will be gone soon, and you will feel normal very fast.  Step 3: Self Love & Care 🧖‍♀️ You have been sobbing for days. You probably didn’t brush your teeth or bathe, or wash your hair. Didn’t have the appetite to eat? Or ate like a bear? even looked like a bear? Your room is all messy and unclean? It’s time to fix all that. It’s time to shower some love!  Clean up your room and clean up yourself. Put on Music! Sad, happy, dancing, whatever you want. Care for yourself. You have been hurt. You have been deprived of love. Give it to yourself! What I do exactly – I will bathe with music on, order my comfort food (cheesy spaghetti and choco lava), and sit in my clean room with a laptop in front of me playing my favorite breakup movie, and do my skin care. Even light a scented candle. I am hungry just thinking about it lol. Step 4: F.R.I.E.N.D.S 👯‍♀️ Not the TV Show, but watching it helps.  A constant thing in my life is my friends. These 3 kids I game with every night. When I am with them, for those few hours, I forget. I forget about the sadness or the darkness or the emptiness buried inside me. I laugh, I smile, I make jokes, I roast them.  It’s a reminder that life can be amazing with the right people. It makes you understand that the ones who left were wrong. They didn’t bring any value to your existence.  Get out of the house and have some fun! Anything that you can enjoy for a few hours.  How To Be Happy Alone? – Read Now – Because at the end of the day, happiness isn’t about having people around you. It’s about having you—and knowing that’s enough. Step 5: Do Absolutely Weird Things! 💃 I am sure nobody, no article, no YouTube video will tell you this. This is another one of my things.  Sometimes I lie down on the floor. I just lay there on the cold floor. It feels refreshing. It gives me main character vibes xd. I dance! When no one is home, I dance around the house, jumping on the sofa, the bed, in front of the mirror, everywhere.  I order different flavors of ice cream. I mix chocolate with strawberry or mango with raspberry and try them all. I write stupid stuff on my bedroom wall.  Step 6: Ground Yourself With Journalling 💭 I was told to journal my feelings for more than half of my life by some magazines and articles, or I saw it in movies. But I always thought it must be useless. Until I tried once. It changed my life. Writing down your feelings, your absolutely darkest, deepest, cruelest feelings on paper, not caring about your writing, just scribbling down every thought that comes, is so rewarding.  When you overthink, just write what you feel. I feel sad because….., I think I can never move on….., I hate my life……, I hate that person……. After that, it will be out of your system, and you will feel light. You will be grounded.  Step 7: Time Does Heal ⏳ “And so I wait, wait for the time to heal my pain and raise me to my feet once again – so that I can start a new path, my own path, the one that will make me whole again” – Jack Canfield Let time heal you…. Note from Author Be glad for the experience. You’ve got to feel love, happiness, sadness, heartbreak, attachment, disappointment, vulnerability, emptiness, fulfillment, and so much more.  Life is not about the places you go, but about the things you feel and how strongly you feel them. I hope my blog “How to Detach from Someone You Love” was able to help and heal you. If you tried any of these steps and they helped, comment down below and let me know!

Skin Care Routine For Men According To Skin Type

Real men don’t just show up—they show up looking sharp. A skin care routine for men is the ultimate power move. It’s the hallmark of a well-groomed man!  Sweat, pollution, junk food, and constant shaving take a toll on men’s skin, leading to acne, razor burn, oily skin, dark spots, dryness, and premature aging. Also, men’s skin tends to be oilier and thicker than women’s due to higher testosterone levels. While the extra oil helps delay wrinkles, it also causes more clogged pores and greasy skin.  A skin care routine for men is essential for confidence, control, and commitment to looking your best. Types Of Men’s Skin Your skincare routine starts with knowing your skin type—and then giving it exactly what it needs. Oily Skin: Produces excess sebum, creating a greasy feel and shine. Dry Skin: Lacks moisture and often feels tight and rough. It can be itchy and flaky. Combination Skin: Oily in some areas (usually the T-zone: forehead, nose, and chin) and dry in others (cheeks, jawline). Sensitive Skin: Easily irritated by skincare products, shaving, or environmental factors. Prone to redness, itching, or burning sensations. Normal Skin: Well-balanced—neither too oily nor too dry.   Later in the article, I mentioned what products to pick according to your skin type. Skin Care Routine For Men Step 1: Face Wash/Cleanser This step is as important as brushing your teeth daily. You need to remove all the dirt, bacteria, and pollution from your face along with that extra oil. Normal water wash is not enough and won’t completely clear your skin. A face wash clears the clogged pores and cleans impurities that cause acne and blackheads. Unlike regular soap, which is hard on the skin, a face wash leaves you feeling soft and fresh. Every morning and night, cleanse your face with a face wash. This will be the first step in any good skin care routine for men.  Step 2: Serums Face serums are lightweight, fast-absorbing treatments packed with active ingredients to target specific skin issues. Here are some common types and how to use them based on your skin concerns: Hydrating Serum (Hyaluronic Acid) – Dry, dehydrated skin. Anti-Aging Serum (Retinol, Peptides, Vitamin C) – Wrinkles, fine lines, dull skin. Brightening Serum (Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Alpha Arbutin) – Dark spots, uneven skin tone, dullness. Acne-Fighting Serum (Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide, Tea Tree Oil) – Oily, acne-prone skin with breakouts. Oil-Control Serum (Niacinamide, Zinc, Green Tea Extract) – Oily, combination skin. Soothing Serum (Centella Asiatica, Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Green Tea) – Sensitive, irritated skin, redness. After washing your face with a face wash, the next step in our skin care routine for men is applying a single drop of serum on your targeted areas. For example, if you have acne on the cheeks and chin area, apply a single drop on both the cheeks and the chin. Rub it after to spread evenly.  Step 3: Moisturize Daily shaving, exposure to pollution, and harsh weather conditions can strip moisture from the skin, making it rough, irritated, and prone to premature aging. The next step in our skin care routine for men is applying some moisturizer right after the serum evenly on the face. It helps lock in the serum and seal the face from further impurities.  ✔ Hydrates the skin – Keeps it soft and smooth. ✔ Prevents dryness & irritation – Especially after shaving. ✔ Controls oil production – Balances oily and combination skin. ✔ Fights aging – Reduces wrinkles and fine lines. ✔ Protects from environmental damage – Strengthens the skin barrier. Step 4: Sunscreen The final step, and some might say the most important step in any skin care routine for men, is Sunscreen! Always apply after moisturizer.  ✔ Shields from UV damage – Prevents sunburn, dark spots, and skin cancer. ✔ Prevents premature aging – Reduces wrinkles and fine lines. ✔ Evens out skin tone – Protects against hyperpigmentation and discoloration. ✔ Hydrates & protects – Many sunscreens offer added moisture and a protective barrier. ✔ Essential for all seasons – Sun exposure affects the skin even on cloudy days. Here we conclude our simple and easy 4-step Skin care routine for men!  Additional step(optional) – Eye Cream!  If you suffer from dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, or wrinkles around your eyes, then include an eye cream in your skin care routine for men. Apply it before you put on moisturizer. Or during nighttime, replacing the sunscreen with an eye cream.  A well-groomed beard starts with the right care!
